A while back I posted on my Computerworld blog about my experiences with several flavors of Linux and my thoughts of each.
Today, over on Mark's (We)blog, Mark Wilson posts his thoughts on recent experiences with different *NIX flavors including Solaris 10, Red Hat 4 and SUSE Linux 10.
Good read for anyone interested in getting their toes wet in the Linux pool.
Of particular interest is the information on the "root" account, run levels and how *NIX systems set up a disk hierarchy (partitions, folder and such).
