Yet another inelegant fix for a problem. The higher tier tech first had me make a backup of the database and then had me manually uninstall of Veritas BE. I will post the exact procedure for that later.
Then we had to fix the problem with Remote Server Manager and then reinstall BE 9.1 and SP2.
Now it seems to be working 100% again.
And there was much rejoicing...yay.
I uninstalled the prev version of Veritas BExec 8.x and installed the 9.1 version, however I keep getting the same error message that services wont start, and when I go to the services, all the services there show services for BExec version 8.x Is this normal or did I not delete everything when I uninstalled the prev version? Can you please help me out?
