Well, they got the email testing service working again late Wednesday night.
Still getting false positives, though and for now they have it only sending test messages every 30 minutes.
I emailed Lew to see if there were any plans to build in protections against false positives like what Mailive! does, but haven't heard back from him yet. If they don't make the service better, I'll be switching to Mailive (thanks to AJ Fried for the info on them) after our year contract with SiteRecon ends.
Chock this one up to another lesson learned. Don't bite on the year contract at first just because it's cheaper. Try the service for a month or two at first and then switch to the year contract if the service is acceptable. Oh well, at least now the blogosphere knows to avoid SiteRecon until they get their act together.
