Hi,
I'm struggling with RDP and failed to implement it. I wonder if you can suggest a solution.
My own pc runs a winxp pro (sp2) os. It's connected to my isp (my university) via a modem (not a router) and an adsl connection. I'm trying to access this pc from my daughter's home network, which is connected to the internet via a router and adsl.
My pc is assigned a dynamic ip, but I use no-ip services for establishing a static address.
Whenever I try to connect, it takes a minute and the response is a failure, with my home pc address unknown. i tried to ping from my daughter's system to my home pc, but this act failed as well.
What can cause to blocking?
