I'm an IT Administrator with over 9 years experience in the field.

I've done cabling, desktop support, network design, server administration, long term consulting, infrastructure cleanup and more.

Probably the one system that I like working on above all others is Exchange/Outlook. I believe that those two products working together are Microsoft's crowning achievement.

I am currently employed as a Security Operations Engineer at Corillian up in Hillsboro, Oregon. Corillian provides online banking and finance solutions, offers hosting of online financial systems, sells a multi-factor authentication system (Intelligent Authentication) that can help financial institutions comply with the FFIEC guidance on multi-factor authentication and we also offer a fraud/phish/attack detection service and platform for web servers (CFDS).

I have over 9 years of experience in the field, having done everything from helpdesk/phone support to server support to administering phone systems. Before Corillian, I worked for Tomlinson Zisko, a small (~10 attorney) law firm in Palo Alto.

I have done everything from a complete upgrade of a network backbone, server admin, Windows PC support for desktops and laptops, maintained printers, oversaw installation of a new phone switch, deployed Blackberries as well as Blackberry Enterprise Server, moved a company from Exchange 5.5 to 2003, installed an automated tape backup system and many other things.

It's interesting to now be doing security for a company that has built it into their core business practices and processes as opposed to most businesses that do security almost as an afterthought.
